As a Managing Director for Synergy, Jake leads Synergy’s USCG portfolio of projects, ranging from Operations and Maintenance to Application Cyber Security to DevSecOps Modernization. With over 25 years in the IT field, 20 years of managing projects, and 10 years of managing complex federal IT programs, Jake uses his experience with government systems modernization, DevSecOps transformation, and low-code/no-code SaaS project implementation to oversee Synergy’s USCG projects.
Jake began his career as a software developer at CGI in the Healthcare Solutions Group and has prior experience working with government agencies such as the Department of State, the Department of Labor, and USAID. Jake holds a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, and attended Johns Hopkins University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics.
When not at work, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, working on house projects, and volunteering at his local church.
Some of Jake’s proudest work includes efforts towards the Refugee Processing Center, as well as for the USAID Food for Peace Management Information System (FFPMIS).
