
Alec Longarzo leads growth for Synergy’s National Security portfolio, overseeing strategy, capture, and account direction across the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Defense community. With more than a decade of experience, he has driven the modernization of complex, mission-critical systems for DHS and the Department of Defense (DoD). His focus centers on advancing mission-aligned capabilities in modern delivery, data engineering, data science, and machine learning, ensuring these innovations translate directly into operational impact for national security partners.
Deeply connected to the national security community, Alec works alongside government and development teams to shape practical, scalable solutions that meet mission demands. Beyond his professional role, he supports non-profit organizations dedicated to operators and their families and helps military professionals navigate their transition to civilian careers.
He serves as Executive Vice President and Board Member for AFCEA NOVA and has been recognized by AFCEA International as a 40 Under 40 honoree for his contributions to the defense and national security sector.
He holds a Master’s in Cybersecurity Strategy and Information Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky.
