Jake Buikema serves as Chief Revenue Officer at Synergy, where he leads the full lifecycle of growth activities from strategy and capture to marketing and business development. He brings more than 20 years of experience building and leading growth organizations to secure dozens of strategic pursuits for large and small businesses.
Before joining Synergy, Jake held multiple executive growth leadership roles including serving as Strategic Advisor and EVP Growth for Private Equity, Chief Growth Officer at Raft, SVP of Strategic Growth at ICF, and VP of Strategic growth at Incentive Technology Group. He has played a hands-on leadership role in six M&A transactions (2 sales, 4 acquisitions).
Earlier in his career, Jake held multiple leadership roles at Lockheed Martin supporting mission-critical defense, intelligence, and international programs. As a Senior Capture Executive, he supported $15B in new business and led more than $8B in single-award captures across defense, intelligence, civilian, and global domains.
Jake holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Strategy from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
