Synergy CTO, Chandan Mukhopadhyay, has been awarded a patent for creating a unique architectural approach using cryptography and application gateway to eliminate malicious data access and data exfiltration (US Patent # 10609001).
Insider threat remains a serious security vulnerability for all agencies and traditional security measures don’t adequately protect enterprises against insider threat. Chandan developed an architectural approach that can effectively eliminate the insider threat by selective data encryption, where even a system administrator with an elevated level of access cannot exfiltrate confidential data.
We have already used this approach to develop a pilot implementation for DISA, and we are currently in the process of implementing this solution for other customers.
